In the state Duma drafted a list of dangerous dog breeds
A group of United Russia headed by the Chairman of the Committee for the protection of natural resources Eugene Tugolukov submitted to the state Duma the bill “About responsible treatment of animals”, containing innovations in this area.
In particular, first introduced the situation about their animal companions. Referred to them as usual for Russians, Pets – cats, dogs, horses, Guinea pigs and hamsters, and rare chameleon and arthropods. Animal companions include parrots and hawks.
There is a list of potentially dangerous breeds of dogs, the contents of which are set special requirements – training, compulsory registration, the paddock only with muzzle and leash. It includes American pit bull Terrier, South African Boerboel, Karelian bear dog, Caucasian shepherd, Anatolian Karabash, Alabai and American Staffordshire Terrier.
The bill establishes the responsibilities of pet owners to provide them with proper living conditions. Not allowed to torture animals, causing them beatings, mutilations, injuries, cruel killing of animals, instigation of animal on person or other animals.
